 《高等數學》是學生入學后最先學習的必修課之一,這門課程是學生掌握數學工具的主要課程,也是學生培養(yǎng)理性思維的重要載體。其基本特點是理論的抽象性,邏輯的嚴密性和應用的廣泛性?!陡叩葦祵W》相對中學數學知識來說,知識跨度大,內容多,在深度,廣度和對學生的能力要求上都是一次飛躍。所以要利用較少課時把大量的基礎的高等數學知識介紹給學生,激發(fā)學生愛數學、學數學的興趣,提高他們的數學意識就是擺在我面前的一個問題。據此提出幾點看法。

 一、當前高等數學課存在的問題

 1.高等數學課程內容方面。高等數學作為一門課程體系,在教材的編排方面,講究知識的系統(tǒng)性及 的嚴謹性,而各專業(yè)對數學的要求是不一樣的,所以兩年來,盡管我在高等數學教育與教學改革中作了一定的努力及多方面的嘗試,但收效甚微,尤其是目前高等數學教材內容基本沒有改變,陳舊的教學內容及傳統(tǒng)的教學方式基本無法改變,這一切都難以滿足學科發(fā)展及實踐對數學的需要。

 2.學生的數學基礎方面。高等數學歷來以其概念的高度抽象性、邏輯的嚴密性和推理的精確性而為人們所推崇。但這些特點要求學生具有一定的數學基礎,有數學思想和計算能力。新生入學的基礎差別相對大,大部分的數學基礎也相對薄弱。一些學生逃避自己的薄弱科目,不重視學好數學了。因此,要求學生學好起點更高的高等數學,對他們來說無疑是雪上加霜,使許多學生望而卻步。

 3.課堂教學方式方面?,F行的高等數學課堂教學,“滿堂灌”的現象依然突出,教學過程呆板,講解枯燥無味,缺乏探究和學生的主動參與,缺乏相互的合作與交流,而采用的教學手段依然是粉筆加黑板的傳統(tǒng)模式,沒有充分利用 化的教學手段。另外,在作業(yè)方面,一般仍遵循著傳統(tǒng)的模式即教師布置固定題目的課后作業(yè)→學生完成指定的題目并上交書面形式的作業(yè)→教師批改完后發(fā)給學生并講評作業(yè)。

 二、高職院校高等數學課應對問題的策略
 <br/>
 1.明確高職院校高等數學課程的教學目的和要求。根據數學學科的歷史、特點、作用和發(fā)展,結合當今社會對人才的要求及學生將來要從事的工作,從總體上來看開設高等數學的目的和要求大致上有兩方面:(1)理解和掌握高等數學的基本內容、基本思想、基本方法和初步應用;(2)培養(yǎng)和加強學生的理性思維方式和能力,提高學生的綜合素質。在這兩方面中前者是后者的基礎,后者只有通過前者才能實現。因此要求學生和教師轉變觀念,提高認識,在教學過程中貫徹執(zhí)行。

 2.高等數學教學原則以理解為主。由于學生我們不是培養(yǎng)數學研究者,重要的是讓他們掌握數學思想和數學思維方式。學生往往覺得高等數學不可理解,難以接受,許多學生容易產生畏難情緒。顯然,我們在教學中首先要改變這種狀態(tài),使學生感到可以理解,并且能輕松、愉快地完成這門課程的學習任務。如何才能達到這一步,我們認為:師生要有共同語言。此即需要教師具有一定的文學涵養(yǎng)和較好的語言運用藝術,象說話幽默、風趣、表達言簡意駭等等。教學以模塊為精華,比如微分思想模塊,這塊在極限為工具的基礎上,重要討論的是微觀描述。

 3.改善教材內容與改進教學方法。根據學生的特點,首先要選擇通俗易懂的教材,便于學生鉆研教材。其次,要選擇高數在本專業(yè)中具有應用內容適合學生的實際,還需要教師在教學中對某些內容做較大的變動。
 <br/>
 (1)數學概念的教學。在數學概念的教學中,可以刪除過于繁瑣的敘述,用既準確又簡單的描述代替。如微積分中極限的,概念學生難以接受,用通俗易懂的概念代替完全是可行的。如何使學生理解、掌握概念,是學生學好高等數學的關鍵環(huán)節(jié)之一。數學概念是對實際問題的高度抽象和概括:即概念的形成過程是從具體到抽象。如果只向學生講解概念的內涵,而不告訴學生這些概念是從哪些實際問題中抽象出來的,就不能使學生深刻理解概念。

 (2)合理把握知識的深度。結合高等數學教學目的`及學生的特點,采取靈活的教學方法,學生數學底子差,不擅長邏輯思維,所以教學中盡量降低論證的要求,側重學會數學知識的運用,但要注意并非取消證明。課堂講解盡量做到通俗易懂,教學語言形象生動。教學中要著重講解解決問題的思維過程,揭示問題解決的思想和方法,突出“怎樣想的”、“為什么這樣想”,做到“授人以魚”不如“授人以漁”。

 (3)避免面面俱到的講授教學內容。美國卡內基教學促進會指出:任何大學都不可能向學生傳授所有的知識,大學教育的基本目標是要給學生提供終生學習的能力。因此,要改變講得過多過細!面面俱到的教學方法,給學生的思維留出時間和空間,避免學生養(yǎng)成依賴教師的心理和思想懶惰的習慣。

 (4)及時消化課堂教學內容。教師應在課堂上留有一定時間,解答學生的疑難問題,幫助學生及時消化課堂教學內容。即教師主講占3/4的時間,1/4的時間留給學生思考問題。因為,教學中教師講解之后,學生學習了基本理論,看懂了例題,不一定具備了分析問題和解決問題的能力。

 4.改變考試方式,形式多樣的效果檢驗。根據專業(yè)的特點,高等數學課程適宜采用以考核學生理解課程為主的開、閉兼容的考試,考試方式要靈活多樣,相互補充,不能只局限于傳統(tǒng)的考試方式,一卷定成績一方面考試可以以考察基本數學知識為主,另一方面,可通過寫篇小論文的方式,來考查學生對數學思想的理解深度或數學在各領域中的運用能力,讓學生就高等數學中某一認識較深或較感興趣的問題,抒發(fā)自己的見解;也可以由教師指定題目進行分組討論合作完成。最后在題型上可引入開放性題型。開放性題型既能培養(yǎng)學生的創(chuàng)新精神又能充分發(fā)揮文科生的想像力,在解答的過程中提高他們的發(fā)散性思維能力。

 高等數學是絕大部分高職院校都開設的一門必修基礎課,目的是通過高等數學的學習,培養(yǎng)學生的邏輯思維能力和創(chuàng)新能力,從而為高職生各種能力的培養(yǎng)打下良好地基礎,并為學生繼續(xù)學習、終生學習和可持續(xù)發(fā)展奠定良好地基礎,但是,高等數學又是絕大部分高職生普遍認為比較難的一門課程,在眾多課程中其不及格率也是比較高的。與別的科目相比較,其邏輯性強,較抽象。很多高職生在開始接觸這門課時常常會感覺有些茫然,從而對學習失去興趣。針對這些情況,下面我來談談一下個人的看法:高職生如何才能學好高等數學
 <br/>
 一、課前預習,找出疑難點
 <br/>
 預習能充分提高課堂聽課效率,良好的預習習慣能夠為提高將來的自學能力打下扎實的基礎。所以在上課之前學生要把當天講的新課內容預習好,至少要看懂一半以上,這樣對整個內容有一個初步了解,不要有依賴教師解決問題的思想,這樣才能激發(fā)自身的潛力。而沒看懂的內容要做好記錄,作為新課時聽課的重點和提出質疑的內容,對于比較繁瑣且很難的推導證明過程則可以大膽放棄。
 <br/>
 二、課堂上認真聽課,敢于提問
 <br/>
 高等數學新知識的接受,數學能力的培養(yǎng)主要在課堂上進行,學生應該帶著充沛的精力和預習中的種種疑問,報著對獲取新知識的濃厚興趣,用心去聆聽教師在課堂中是如何提出問題、分析問題和解決問題的。因此上課時要緊跟教師的思路,積極展開思維預測下面的步驟,比較自己的解題思路與教師所講有哪些不同,糾正預習中的主觀理解,增強對新教材的理解和記憶。在教師證明定理與推導公式時,最重要的是要理解其中的思路。只要掌握了主要思路,即使某些細節(jié)沒有聽清楚,也沒有關系。自己完全能夠在這個思路的引導下將全部細節(jié)補足,最后推出結論。同時,課堂筆記是學生進行積極思維、保證聽課效果的重要手段,也是一本很好的參考書,好的筆記使用起來事半功倍。因此學生在課堂上要善于記筆記,因為老師在課堂上講的內容,大部分課本上都有,所以記筆記沒必要追求齊全。

 三、課后認真復習
 <br/>
 孔子曰“學而時習之,不亦說乎!”,就提出了復習的重要性,但復習不是簡單的重復,應當用自己的表達方式再現所學的知識,復習時應將課堂筆記和教材結合起來進行,從中提煉出本節(jié)課的主要內容,抓住要領,提取精華,加深理解,強化記憶。同時要注意,復習時的思路不應當只是教師講課或者教科書的翻版,一個可供參考的方法是采用倒敘式。從定理的結論倒推,為了得到定理的結論,是怎樣進行推理的,定理的條件用在何處,但務必做到基本概念清楚、基本理論準確、基本推理方法熟練,這樣,倒置思維方式,就是一種創(chuàng)造性的思維活動。最后,要記得安排好階段性復習,在每個階段的學習中要進行整理和歸納總結,把知識的點、線、面結合起來交織成知識網絡,納入自己的知識體系。

 四、獨立完成老師布置的作業(yè)
 <br/>
 如果說做好預習是提高課堂聽課效率的充分條件,那么及時完成好作業(yè)就是讀好高等數學的必要條件。有部分學生由于懶或者某些題目做不出,結果就抄同學的作業(yè),或者不管質量胡亂應付,這些都是不負責任的表現,既不尊重老師,更不尊重自己。對于老師批過的作業(yè)一定要認真仔細地看,這是對老師辛勤勞動的尊重,更是糾正錯誤,以免重犯的好方法。另外不能為做作業(yè)而做作業(yè),在做題中,要多思考,多與以往學習的知識比較對照,不斷提高自己的解題能力。

 五、參與數學建模
 <br/>
 對一個實際問題而言,一般不是只有一個正確模型,許多不同的模型都可以用來解決相同的問題,而同一個抽象模型又可以用于解決不同的具體問題,它沒有固定的方法和規(guī)定的數學工具,也沒有現成的答案、模式可以遵循。其結果只有更好,沒有最好。這樣數學建模本身就給學生提供了一個自我學習,獨立思考,認真探索的實踐過程。給學生帶來了靈活的思維方式,開拓了學生的視野。它鼓勵學生深層次思考問題,為學生提供了一個發(fā)揮創(chuàng)造性才能的氛圍和條件。通過建模,學生要從錯綜復雜的實際問題中,抓住問題的要點,使問題逐漸明確,并將問題中的聯系歸成一類,揭示出它們的本質特征,得出解決問題的重點與難點,自覺地運用所給問題的條件尋求解決問題的最佳方案和途徑,這一過程能充分發(fā)揮學生豐富的想象力和創(chuàng)新能力,從而提高學生學習的積極性,培養(yǎng)他們的興趣。

 六、多閱讀一些相關的參加書,提高自學能力
 <br/>
 多閱讀一些參考書會開闊自己的眼界,增長見識,加深對知識的理解。閱讀參考書也是學習的第二課堂,是課內學習的補充和繼續(xù)。由于時間的關系,我們要仔細的通讀某一本參考書往往不太可能。因此,我建議我們可以某一個自己感興趣或想深入研究的問題為中心,有選擇地看其他的參考書,在這些參考書中找到相關的部分,有針對性地深入研究這個問題,看看這些參考書是怎樣論述的,閱讀時也應做好筆記,在自己已知的學習基礎上,通過與教材對比,優(yōu)于教材的地方要勇于攝取,劣于教材的論述不要受影響,自己做一個小結,從而鍛煉自己的自學能力。

 七、教師多采用多媒體上課,提高課堂學生學習的興趣

 多媒體教學是一種形象、生動的教學形式,可變抽象為直觀,使學生加深對數學理論的理解和掌握,激發(fā)學生學習數學的興趣。適當引入多媒體教學,能增加課堂信息量, 延伸教學內容, 幫助學生獲得更多的感性材料, 使教學更加形象化,提高課堂教學質量,從而有助于培養(yǎng)學生的形象思維能力,同時引發(fā)學生的好奇心理,激發(fā)學生學習的興趣。
